Barb Warren
A 20-year hospitality-industry veteran, Barb Warren has been working for Humber Valley Resort for the past two years as the Group Sales Manager. She was largely responsible for the 350% growth in the group business over the period from 2006-2008.
Her career started with The Westin Hotel in Ottawa where she worked in various operational departments including Front Desk, Reservations and Concierge.
She continued her hospitality career with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts where she worked as Sales Manager for the Incentive and Group market for 10 years. Her passion for delivering innovative and memorable events, have left a lasting legacy that have set the standard for eastern resorts. Barb has worked with world-class entertainment as well as some as the biggest clients in the industry.
Barb is an active member of Meeting Professionals International and is constantly improving her skills in her field. She currently maintains an editor's position with MPI Atlantic.
